The Academic Success Bridge Program (ASBP) is an on-campus experience which allows freshmen students to experience the academic environment at Briar Cliff University (BCU). Students from various backgrounds and diverse perspectives participate in the ASBP. The program is a one-week intensive academic residential program which begins the week before the start of Fall 2010 classes. Those students who successfully complete ASBP will earn two college credits toward their degree.

Through structured academic and integrated activities, ASBP teaches students how to be better prepared to bridge the gap between high school preparation and college readiness demands. Students participate in academic sessions, study workshops, one-on-one tutorials, curriculum seminars and external classroom assignments.

Although all incoming freshmen are invited to apply for the ASBP, student enrollment is limited to 30 participants who must meet program criteria. Students will be informed of their application status by/before August 2, 2010.The cost of the one-week academic program is $149 which includes the ASBP student’s tuition, room, board, books and activity fees. Program cost is non-refundable.
