The Academic
Success Bridge Program
(ASBP) is an
on-campus experience
which allows freshmen
students to experience
the academic environment
at Briar Cliff
University (BCU).
Students from various
backgrounds and diverse
perspectives participate
in the ASBP. The program
is a one-week intensive
academic residential
program which begins the
week before the start of
fall classes.
Through structured
academic and integrated
activities, students
will be better prepared
to bridge the gap
between high school
preparation and the
demands of college.
Students participate in
academic sessions, study
workshops, one-on-one
tutorials, curriculum
seminars, and external
classroom assignments.
Although all incoming
freshmen are invited to
apply for the ASBP,
student enrollment is
limited. The cost of the
one-week, academic
program is $99 which
includes room, board,
books, and tuition for
two college credits. The
program cost is
non-refundable.
