NEWS

Briar Cliff University is a community committed to higher education within a liberal arts and Catholic perspective.

We are located at the edge of urban development, but just minutes from downtown Sioux City (tri-state metro population: 145,000 plus). Located where the states of Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota meet, Sioux City is connected with other metropolitan areas by Interstate Highway 29 and Sioux Gateway Airport.

The hilltop campus includes three academic buildings, four residence halls, a chapel, library, Newman Flanagan Center (athletic facilities), McCoy-Arnold Center, and the Stark Student Center.

To fulfill its mission, Briar Cliff University is a community of learners, a community of persons, a community within the Catholic and Franciscan tradition, and a community among communities.

At Briar Cliff, students are able to embrace the feeling that the university cares about the whole person. It is a place that gives you a solid education, instills confidence in you, and prepares you for all aspects of the 'real world.'
