SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Two Sioux City middle schools have emerged as the champions in this year’s beSomebody Anti-Bullying YouTube Video Contest, sponsored by the Briar Cliff University ENACTUS group.

Taking first-place was a video produced by Sioux City East Middle School students on the prevention of cyber bullying. Bishop Heelan Catholic Holy Cross Middle School was a close second, earning runner up for a video on the dangers of stereotyping.
The winners recieved their cash prizes at an awards ceremony at 9 a.m., Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, in the Saint Francis Center at Briar Cliff University. Both clips have been submitted to Iowa Governor Terry Branstad’s statewide anti-bulling video contest.
WINNING VIDEOS East Middle's winning video focuses on the prevention of cyber-bullying.
The Holy Cross runner-up video focuses on the dangers of stereotyping.
