SIOUX CITY, IOWA – College bound students seeking excellence in their academic pursuit and success in today’s job market will discover their passions at Briar Cliff University during Iowa Private Colleges Week (IPCW), Monday, Aug. 5, through Friday, Aug. 9.
With many opportunities for internships, field studies and research in more than 30 areas of study, including nursing, education, business administration, biology, pre-professional studies, criminal justice and more, a majority of Briar Cliff graduates are working in their fields or accepted into top-notch graduate schools upon graduation.
During IPCW, visitors and their families will meet Briar Cliff professors who are well-known for their dedication to student success, hear from BCU students about campus life and classes around the world and learn about BCU’s scholarships, grants and other ways to pay for college. Visitors may register at 8:45 a.m. or 1:15 p.m. in Noonan Hall on campus, 3303 Rebecca Street, or register online. Visitors also will have opportunities to tour Briar Cliff’s dynamic, hilltop campus.
Students who register for IPCW, visit three Iowa private colleges during the week and are accepted to one of those colleges may be eligible to win a $500 voucher redeemable at their college book store. For more information, contact the admissions office.
