Briar Cliff Jazz Ensemble to Give Free Concert

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Briar Cliff University Jazz Ensemble will channel classic jazz and standard popular tunes in a free public concert at 8:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, in the BCU Theatre on campus.

The concert will feature the music of Count Basie, Freddie Hubbard and Victor Goines. BCU’s Jazz Ensemble is in its seventh year of performing and is made up entirely of non-music majors.

Briar Cliff University is a Catholic institution with an enrollment of more than 1,100 students from 31 states and 11 countries.
