WOMEN'S HOOPS: Reeves leads Chargers to comeback win

For the first time since the 2001-02 season, Briar Cliff's women's basketball team walked off the Mount Marty Lancers' pine with a win. The Chargers' play in the second half was the difference in this one as they overcame a 31-29 halftime deficit and held the Lancers of Mount Marty to only 13 second half points in registering a 66-44 decision.

Sara Reeves led the 10th-ranked Chargers with 15 points and eight rebounds.

With the win, the Chargers improved to 21-5 overall and 12-4 in the GPAC, while the Lancers, who were receiving votes nationally, slipped to 16-9 (10-6). The Cliff returns to action on Wednesday, at NAIA No. 3 Concordia. Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m. in Seward, Neb.
