Volleyball standout to be inducted into Charger Hall of Fame

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Former Briar Cliff volleyball player Renee Beiermann will be inducted into the Charger Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, Jan. 25. The ceremony will take place during halftime of the 4 p.m. men's basketball game against Hastings.

Beiermann is the sole inductee of this year's Hall of Fame class. 

Beiermann, a 2007 graduate, was an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American, a two-time NAIA Daktronics Scholar Athlete, a two-time first-team NAIA all-region selection and a three-time GPAC all-conference choice. The four-year starter was a three-time team MVP.

Beiermann owns school records for kills in a match (32), season (585) and career (1,723).
