SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Senior Tara Cockerill made the shot look easy at the 49th running of the Sioux City Relays. On her first attempt, she uncorked a winning throw of 45 feet, 10 inches, a distance which was over 3 feet farther than her closest competitor. On the men's side, sophomore Raheem Cowan posted wins in both the triple jump (47-08.00) and the long jump (22-06.25), while several other Chargers also had memorable performances.

Senior Cory Hollamon finished second in the triple jump (46-11.00) and provisionally qualified for nationals in the event, while classmate Clay Pagels also placed second and tied his own school record in the high jump (6-9) along the way.  Freshman Rusty Muncy set a new school record in the 400-meter hurdles with a clocking of 57.32 seconds, while the 4x400 relay team just missed a school record of its own.
