Our online databases are accessible on campus to the public.
These databases consist of reference materials, journals, magazines,
and newspaper indexes and articles.
Computer Services
The public may use the computer near the reference desk to do
word processing. This computer is not connected to the Internet.
Internet access is available from our online public access terminals
on main floor, near the Reference section. Ask for assistance at
the circulation desk.
Reference Librarians
Reference Librarians are available to help you with your research
needs.
Library Resources
The library contains more than:
- 83,000 books
- 6,500 periodicals
- 21,000 microforms
- 10,000 audiovisual materials
- 40 online databases
- 130 pieces of equipment
Borrowing Privileges
Briar Cliff University is an Iowa Open Access (OA) Library.
This means that anyone from a member OA library may check out
our library materials and that we will return other OA materials
to cooperating libraries. Sioux City Public Library is an OA library.
