Briar Cliff Hosts 2025 Nursing Pinning Ceremony

Briar Cliff University hosted the Nursing Pinning Ceremony on Friday, May 9, in the St. Francis Center. The ceremony is a way for Briar Cliff University to symbolically welcome our newly graduated nurses into the profession. In the ceremony, the new nurses are presented with a nursing pin or hood by the BCU Nursing Faculty or a loved one chosen by the graduate.The ceremony featured remarks from President Dr. Matthew Draud, as well as remarks from student speakers, including Olivia Corey, Tracy Witter, and Amber Franco.
