Education

Gil holds a bachelor's degree in history and religious studies from Iowa State University at Ames and a master’s degree in theology from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb.


About

At Briar Cliff, Gil oversees the BCCares Program in Campus Ministry and is an assistant track coach, mainly for high jumpers. He was a high jumper for Iowa State University's track and field team. He now lives just outside Allen, Neb., with his wife, Shannon, and two children, Jude and Cora.
