What Kyle loves about BCU: I especially love the size of “the Cliff”. I looked at going to some larger institutions, but I didn’t feel I would succeed at those schools. Briar Cliff is a place where people (professors, administration, coaches, and fellow students) are going to get to know you, genuinely care about you, and want to see you succeed in anything that you are involved with, whether that is in or out of the classroom. Briar Cliff is a place that felt like home to me for four years and now I want to help students have the same experiences that I had.
Best advice for a high school senior: Find the place where you are the most comfortable on campus and a place that has the major that you are looking for. The college that you are going to select will be your home away from home for the next 4-plus years and you want to have that comfortability factor when you step onto campus. College is a very unique experience, enjoy your time at school, but remember what you are going to college for, TO GET AN EDUCATION. Make sure that you go to class and get all of your assignments done before you have your leisure time. If you do that, you will have the time of your life, meet some incredible people, and have memories that will last a lifetime!
