What Tyler loves about BCU: Briar Cliff is home for me. I would say I truly grew up here. I was given a chance in the classroom and on the golf team. I was also given the opportunity to meet some wonderful people along the way — I met my wife at Briar Cliff! We live in Sioux City with our daughter and son. I have the confidence to say that I am a better father, husband, son, sibling, friend, worker and person today because of the values instilled on The Cliff.
There is an incredible, caring environment at Briar Cliff that encourages you to be who you are, and achieve your dream. At The Cliff, the sky is the limit.
Best advice for a transfer student: I think mentorship is something that a prospective transfer student will rarely hear or ask about. This can be such an underrated component to a college’s worth. It can be really easy to get caught up in searching for a school based exclusively on both the majors offered and financial aid. At BCU, our students are consistently guided towards whatever their goals may be both personally and professionally. Our alumni outcomes really tell the story. Ask us how that works!
