The Department of Psychology has a dedicated laboratory on the Briar Cliff campus. BCU's  Psychology Department Lab has facilitated dynamic revolving groups of student research projects, including eating disorders in female athletes, coaching styles and their impact on performance, career decision-making in college students, effects of on versus off campus living on the college experience, and the impact a daycare reading program has on parent-child interactions, among many others.

The Psychology Department Lab also allows students to continue their research, as well as inspires others to conduct research in psychology.
