great way to get
started. You'll combine
clinical experiences and
CPR training with the
personal experiences of
skilled Briar Cliff
faculty and graduates.
You will also earn one
hour of college credit.

Briar Cliff's Nursing
Program prepares
graduates to meet the
health care needs of a
community through
promoting wellness and
providing illness care
from a Christian
perspective. The nursing
major is a four-year
baccalaureate program
including 900 hours of
clinical nursing
experience in both
in-patient and
ambulatory settings

When and Where is
Nursing Camp?
Nursing Camp is held on
the Briar Cliff campus
for four days in late
June and/or early July;
starting with Monday
lunch and ending after
Thursday lunch. Classes
are held in regular
college laboratories and
students live in a
residence hall with a
residence hall advisor.
Cost of Camp
Tuition is $250 and
includes three nights of
lodging, all meals from
Monday lunch through
Thursday lunch, camp
t-shirt, and
transportation to all
clinical experiences and
recreational events.
