President: Erin Holzman

President – serves as chief executive officer
of the chapter; presides over all meetings; calls executive meetings as needed;
works closely with the chapter advisor in coordinating projects; is the liaison
between the national organization and the student chapter; stays current on
developments in the field; and demonstrates leadership in all chapter projects;
actively involved in local sponsoring chapter
Vice President – oversees the committees which
are established; takes the president’s place in the event of absence at chapter
meetings; takes an active part in all or most projects; performs other duties
as designated by the president
Vice-President, Merit – tracks progress of
Merit Award application, oversees the fulfillment of the Student Chapter Merit
Award application process, completing the Merit Award entry
Secretary – keeps records of the proceedings
at all chapter meetings and executive meetings; is responsible for all
correspondence, including invitations to speakers and subsequent notes of
thanks; keeps records (except financial) of all chapter projects and their
outcomes
Treasurer – responsible for the financial
affairs of the chapter; keeps financial records for the chapter; writes checks
for all chapter expenses; keeps president and/or vice president informed of the
financial condition of the chapter; works with the president and the sponsoring
chapter’s liaison in preparing the annual budget and special budget requests
Public Relations Director – actively solicits
new members throughout the year; posts notices of meetings/events; arranges
publicity for special programs, coordinates chapter newsletter
Web Designer/Photographer – creates and updates the SHRM homepage with information about the organization and any current and future events; responsible to attend all events and activities to take pictures for the SHRM homepage and/or newsletter.
