Mikey Brauer is a junior mass communications major and political science minor from Utica, NE. Brauer runs track and cross country for the Chargers. Bruce Milller is his hero.

Phylicia Mau is a junior graphic design major. This Cliff News photographer from Geneva, NE, is also involved in C.H.O.I.C.E.S and CAB, and works as a graphic artist at Sabre Industries, Inc. She would like to pursue a career in designing advertisements.

Julia Robinson is a senior Mass Communications major from Omaha, Nebraska. Julia is the co-captain of the Chargers’ tennis team, and has been with the team since it started in 2005. Pink is her favorite color, and her future goals include finding a job or going to graduate school around the Omaha area. Julia’s back up plans include using her diploma to carpet the cardboard box she’ll most likely be living in.

Mary Pat Soderberg - Assistant Editor
	Mary Pat Soderberg is a junior mass communications and writing double major from Saint Paul, MN. Future goals include (in no specific order) marrying a doctor, joining the Peace Corps., running a marathon in high heels, and living in Denver to be a full-time ski bum in order to avoid real work.
Ethan Lear - Sports Editor
	Ethan Lear was born in Cherokee, IA and moved to Sioux City at age four. This BCU track runner is a junior mass communications with an emphasis in journalism major, and writing minor. Lear wants to write articles for the Revolver or possibly the Onion, and has always wanted to write a fictional novel.
Marena Fritzler - Graphics Editor
	Marena Fritzler is a junior graphic design major from Mesa, CO. She is a campus photographer for Institutional Advancement, a member of CAB, Campus Ministry, and a Troubadour. Fritzler works for Long Lines Communications as a graphic designer. She wishes she could fly like Peter Pan to cut back on expensive plane tickets.
Jodi Gosch - Online Editor
	Jodi Gosch is a junior graphic design major from Mapleton, IA. She is involved in C.H.O.I.C.E.S., CAB, Campus Ministry, and works off campus as a graphic artist at Sabre Industries, Inc. Someday she would love to work as a graphic designer for a publishing company. Without a perm, Gosch's hair is actually straight!

	Samantha Haring is a sophomore mass communications major from Olathe, KS. She stays busy as the photo editor for Cliff News, General Manager of BCU radio, PAL, and mass comm. work study. Haring plans to open a company where she can work in her favorite profession...as soon as she figures out what that is!

	Jamie McClure is a senior mass communications major and writing minor from Aurora, NE. She is currently working at The Globe, the Catholic Newspaper for the Diocese of Sioux City. She just finished her internship in late August.

	Jason Pulliam is a senior mass communications major from Oak Park, IL. He is a member of the Briar Cliff football team and the Rock Prayer Group. He enjoys reading, listening to music and watching ESPN. Following graduation, Pulliam would like to return to Chicago to pursue a career in either sports journalism or broadcasting.

	Katie Helling is a senior from South Dakota who hopes to make it through school quickly, while savoring a few moments here and there. She has a writing major and a graphic design minor. Helling has learned each can be done fast and dirty, or slow and with caution - either way they must be done with love...or life sucks.

Advisor - Michael Crowley
	Crowley is associate professor and chairperson of the department of mass media. Crowley has been at Briar Cliff and the adviser to The Cliff News since 1989. He has a B.A. (government) from California State University, Sacramento, an M.A. (photojournalism) from Ball State University, a certificate of multimedia form Georgia Institute of Technology and is working on his doctorate at the University of South Dakota. He has been involved in student publications for over 30 years.
