The Office of Campus
Ministry focuses on the
spiritual life of Briar
Cliff students and seeks
to integrate faith and
action. It serves to
meet the pastoral needs
of the entire campus and
assists with the
following needs:

Supporting spiritual
growth through
prayer and worship,
retreats and bible
study/prayer groups

Offering
opportunities to
build Christian
Community
-
Offering spiritual
direction and
pastoral counseling
-
Assisting with
discernment for
lifestyle choices
-
Promoting Peace and
Justice
-
Offering Mission
Trips during term
breaks
The
Office of Campus
Ministry also
coordinates the
activities of BCCares, a
student organization
which coordinates
volunteer opportunities
in the local area.
Activities include:

Volunteering in
local social service
agencies and nursing
homes
-
Sponsoring on-campus
events such as
Senior Citizens’ Day
Out, Christmas Party
for People with
Disabilities and the
Easter Egg Hunt

Tutoring and
mentoring in schools
-
Recycling and
highway clean-up
