BCU Professor of Philosophy Publishes Article
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Stephen Brown,
associate professor of philosophy and chair of the theology
and philosophy department at Briar Cliff, has published an
article in the philosophy anthology Heroes, Monsters and
Values: Science Fiction Films of the 1970s, 2011,
Cambridge Scholars Press.
In his article titled "Choosing
Goodness: The Many Moralities of A Clockwork Orange,"
Dr. Brown discusses various ethical perspectives exemplified
in the classic and controversial 1971 film by director
Stanley Kubrick.
