BCU SIFE, Siouxland Chamber Co-Sponsor “Learnings from the Global Marketplace” Tonight

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Briar Cliff University Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) and the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce will co-sponsor “Learnings from the Global Marketplace” tonight at 7 p.m. in the Saint Francis Center on the Briar Cliff campus.

Featured speaker will be Bob Spears, a member of BCU’s Board of Trustees and president of Executive Advisory Services, LLC, a consulting firm providing client companies with additional executive focus on business operations and strategic consulting. 

Spears is an accomplished senior operations executive with over 20 years experience in diverse industries, including biohazards/homeland security, financial services and personal computers. At the event, he will share his experiences in global business as head of Gateway Computers’ international division and as a CEO of a Danish company. He also will advise students who are preparing to work in the global marketplace.

Spears holds a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College, a master's degree in from the University of Southern California and an MBA degree from Harvard Business School.

“Learnings from the Global Marketplace” is an annual event centered on the BCU SIFE’s goal to empower people, profit and the planet to positively impact community, country and the world.

A reception will follow this free public event.
