SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Once again, Briar Cliff University has been named among the top “Military Friendly Schools” in the U.S. for 2011, according to G.I. Jobs. “We are very honored to have Briar Cliff University named among the top military friendly institutions again this year,” said Beverly A. Wharton, BCU president. “We highly value our military students and are grateful to them and their families for their service to our country.”

Derek Blumke, president of Student Veterans of America and a member of the Academic Advisory Board for 2011 Military Friendly School, said, “The Military Friendly Schools list is the gold standard in letting veterans know which schools will offer them the greatest opportunity, flexibility and overall experience.”

The 2011 Military Friendly School was compiled through research and polling of more than 7,000 schools nationwide.
