Briar Cliff Director to
Be Published in Leadership Journal
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – A paper written and
recently presented by Sean Herring, Ed.D., director of academic
services and faculty member at Briar Cliff University, will be
published in the Journal of Leadership Studies, Summer
2010. Dr. Herring’s article, titled “Technically Written Rubrics
Matter in Higher Education,” will appear in the educational
leadership section of the scholarly journal.
Dr. Herring recently was invited to present
his paper in Springfield, Mo., at the 7th Annual Missouri State
University Conference for Technical and Professional
Communication, which was sponsored by the Society of Technical
Communication. The presentation title was “So, You Think, You
Can Develop an Effective Rubric for Technical Writing?”
His research provides authors, educators,
business professionals and graduate students with educational
leadership content. It also offers leaders rubric assessment
guidance for academic success in post-secondary environments.
