BCU Library Director Receives Conference Scholarship
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Deb
Robertson, director of the Bishop Mueller Library at Briar Cliff
University, was awarded the Iowa Library Association's
chapter of College and Research Libraries Scholarship to attend
the association’s spring conference in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The focus of the conference, titled
“The Library is Open: Open Minds, Open Doors, Open Access,” was
library access in today’s high-tech world. Robertson, who came
to Briar Cliff from Virginia Highlands Community College,
Abingdon, Va., last August, was selected among other new
academic librarians at Iowa colleges and universities, who have
been members of the association for less than three years and
have never attended the state meeting. For more information,

Enrollment at Briar Cliff University
