BCU Professor Presents at National and Midwest Conferences
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Victoria L. S.
Britson, Ph.D., ARNP-BC, CNE, associate professor of nursing at
Briar Cliff, recently presented her doctoral research at the
Midwest Nursing Research Society Annual Research Conference in
Kansas City, Mo., and at the 21st Annual Nursing
Research Symposium in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Dr Britson’s research, titled “The
Lived Experience of Taking a Risk for Persons Who Have
Experienced Natural Disaster,” examines the meaning taking a
risk as an experience that is important to health and quality of
life, which she researched over one year as a culmination of her
doctoral program.
