BCU Nursing Professor Published in International Journal

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Barbara Condon, Ph.D., RN, and associate professor of nursing at Briar Cliff University, recently had her article, titled The Lived Experience of Feeling Misunderstood, published in the April 2010 issue of Nursing Science Quarterly, an international journal of nursing theory, research, and practice.

Dr. Condon’s article, which is the result of six months of research, sheds light on her findings by providing nurses and other health care professionals insight to what feeling misunderstood is like for persons living with disfiguring skin conditions.
