BCU History Professor Presents at National Conference
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Will Prigge, Ph.D.,
professor of history at Briar Cliff University, will present a
paper at the 2010 Association for the Advancement of Baltic
Studies (AABS) Conference on Baltic Studies later this month in
Seattle, Wash.
Dr. Prigge’s paper, titled “Populism under
the Latvian National Communists,” explores attempts by national
communists in Soviet Latvia to generate and draw upon popular
support to further their program.
The AABS conference is attended by scholars
and students of Baltic history. AABS is an international
educational and scholarly non-profit organization that promotes
research and education in Baltic studies.
