BCU Nursing Department Bestows Honors
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Briar Cliff University’s
Department of Nursing recently honored students during the 21st
Annual Commitment to Professional Nursing and Pinning
Ceremony in the Chapel of Our Lady of Grace on campus. At the
ceremony, Kelly A. Hancock, MSN, ARNP-BC, delivered the keynote
address titled “Nursing is a Journey.” Last year, Hancock
received a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Briar Cliff and
was named “Outstanding Nursing Graduate Student” at BCU.
During the ceremony, 26 sophomores received
Certificates of Commitment and 20 seniors were awarded nursing
pins. BCU sophomores honored at the ceremony for their
commitment to professional nursing were: Amber J. Arens,
