BCU Hosts Violence Prevention Educator Jackson Katz
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Briar Cliff University
will host Jackson Katz, an internationally recognized educator
in violence prevention, at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16, in
the Stark Student Center on campus. This free event is open to
the public.
Katz is co-founder of the Mentors in Violence
Prevention (MVP) program, which is the most widely used violence
prevention program in professional and college athletics in the
U.S. He has presented his award-winning educational video and
lectures nationwide to millions of college and high school
students.
The event is sponsored by Briar Cliff MVP and
the Waitt Institute for Violence Prevention.
Briar Cliff University is a Catholic
