BCU Hosts Fall Networking Event
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Briar Cliff University’s
Sister Muriel Ford Circle of Mentors for Women recently hosted a
fall event for female BCU students to network with successful
women who have careers in their academic majors.
Featured speakers were Therese Munn, a 1983
graduate of Briar Cliff, and Alex Reiser, a junior criminal
justice major from Denison, Iowa. Munn, who is vice president
and a commercial lending officer for Central Bank in Sioux City,
discussed her career and the importance of financial literacy.
Reiser gave a presentation on Leadership Iowa University.

The Sister Muriel Ford Circle of Mentors for Women is named
after Sister Muriel Ford, who served as alumni director at Briar
Cliff from 1946 to 1969 and was a member and chairperson of the
sociology department for 35 years. For information about
