BCU Features “Honduras: the Suffering and the Hope”
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Briar Cliff University
will host John Donaghy who will present “Honduras: the Suffering
and the Hope” at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20, in the Saint
Francis Center in the Stark Student Center on campus.
Sponsored by BCU’s Campus Ministry, Donaghy’s
presentation will provide insights to the current political and
economic crises in Honduras. He also will discuss root causes of
the unrest, which was exacerbated by the military coup in
Honduras this past summer. This free event is open to the
public.
Caritus (Catholic Charities) for
the Diocese. Previously, he was campus minister at Saint Thomas
Aquinas Student Center at Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa.
