BCU to Host Annual Family Weekend
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Briar Cliff University
will host its annual “Family Weekend,” Thursday, Oct. 8 through
Sunday, Oct. 11.
The fun-filled event for BCU students and
their families kicks off with a football game on Thursday night
and continues with family bingo and a “Cliff Top” movie on
Friday night. Saturday’s highlights include a cross country meet
at the Adams Nature Preserve in North Sioux City, S.D., followed
by women’s and men’s soccer games, a mystery dinner theatre and
a volleyball match.
On Sunday morning, Liturgy will be held in
the Chapel of Our Lady of Grace on the Briar Cliff campus
followed by a Fall Choral Concert in the afternoon at the First
Presbyterian Church, 608 Nebraska Street, Sioux City.
“We look forward to hosting families from all
over the country,” said Tiffany Quinze, Ed.D., assistant vice
president for Student Development. “It is another opportunity
for them to visit their students at their home-away-from-home.”
Briar Cliff University is a Catholic
