Briar Cliff Announces Senior Art Exhibit

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Briar Cliff University is proud to announce the Senior Art Exhibit, featuring the works of Jessica Oregon, on display now through April 27. An opening reception will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 19 in the Clausen Art Gallery in the Stark Student Center on campus. The Senior Art Exhibit is free and open to the public.

The exhibit features Oregon’s thesis and selected works, which includes mixed media and collage pieces ranging from acrylic on canvas to vinyl laser prints.

“The pieces in my exhibit are very dynamic,” said Oregon, a native of Sioux City. “I want my work to stimulate creative thinking and the exploration of ideas in the viewer.”

The Clausen Art Gallery is open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The gallery is closed on weekends, with the exception of special events.
