Briar Cliff Announces Senior Art Exhibit
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Briar Cliff University
is proud to announce the Senior Art Exhibit, featuring the works
of Jessica Oregon, on display now through April 27. An opening
reception will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 19 in the
Clausen Art Gallery in the Stark Student Center on campus. The
Senior Art Exhibit is free and open to the public.
The exhibit features Oregon’s thesis and
selected works, which includes mixed media and collage pieces
ranging from acrylic on canvas to vinyl laser prints.
“The pieces in my exhibit are very
dynamic,” said Oregon, a native of Sioux City. “I want my work
to stimulate creative thinking and the exploration of ideas in
the viewer.”
The Clausen Art Gallery is open to the
public from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The
gallery is closed on weekends, with the exception of special
events.
Briar Cliff University is a Catholic institution with an
