Briar Cliff Partners with VA for Free Tuition Program Offers Tuition-free College Education for Qualifying Veterans

SIOUX CITY, Iowa Briar Cliff University is partnering with the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) by providing a 50 percent tuition match for established charges under the Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program (Yellow Ribbon Program), allowing qualifying Post-9/11 veterans to attend college tuition free.

The Yellow Ribbon Program is for veterans who have served 36 months of active duty. The program will begin with the 2009-2010 academic year.

Wharton, BCU president. “We look forward to working with qualifying veterans who plan to pursue their career goals through the Yellow Ribbon Program.”
