BCU Announces Student Voice Recital
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Briar Cliff
University announces the Senior Voice Recital on Sunday, May 11,
2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Meis Recital Hall on campus. Singing in
this year’s recital is senior William (Junior) Darwin, who will
perform songs by Robert Schumann, Aaron Copland, George Frideric
Handel and Giacomo Puccini. A senior music major, Darwin will
graduate from BCU in May and plans to attend graduate school at
the University of South Dakota in the fall. For the past three
years, Darwin was a finalist in the Lewis and Clark National
Association of Teachers of Singing Student Auditions. He is a
2004 graduate of Bishop Heelan High School. The event is free
and open to the public.
