BCU’s Rachel Crowley Resource Book Published
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Briar Cliff University’s
Rachel Crowley co-authored Copyright Policies in College
Libraries, which was recently published by the American
Library Association. The resource book is a collection of
selected copyright policies to assist library and campus
personnel.
Crowley, director of library and information
services at BCU’s Bishop Mueller Library, co-authored the
resource book with Patricia Keogh, head of cataloging, Long
Island University Brooklyn Campus Library, Brooklyn, N.Y.
“Copyright Policies in College Libraries is a resource
for those who create or update academic library and campus
copyright policies,” Crowley said. “It offers a compilation of
copyright policies in use at college and university libraries
and provides information on policy content, copyright monitoring
and educating on copyright.”
Crowley, who joined Briar Cliff in 2003,
holds a M.L.S. Degree from Emporia State University, Emporia,
Kan.; and a master’s degree from Ball State University, Muncie,
Ind.

is available online at the American Library Association Store at
