SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Briar Cliff University assistant professor of nursing Vickie Britson, M.S., A.R.N.P., B.C., has an article published in Nursing Science Quarterly, April 2008. In the article titled “The Simplest Things,” Britson covers her experience volunteering in a free medical clinic in Biloxi, Miss., where healthcare needs of the underserved are addressed in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

As a part of the university’s program, 16 senior nursing students recently traveled to Biloxi to gain additional clinical nursing experience.
