BCU Announces “Women’s Voices: Issues of Faith”
Student Production

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Briar Cliff University Department of Theatre announces the student production of “Women’s Voices: Issues of Faith” at 8 p.m. on April 25-26 in Briar Cliff Theatre on campus.

The one-woman show was compiled and created by Sara Arbuckle, a senior theatre major from Papillion, Neb., in partial fulfillment of her thesis for graduation at Briar Cliff University.

“This drama tells the story of five different women, who face struggles within themselves and pressures from the outside world,” said Arbuckle. “Each character has demons to conquest mentally while trying to fit into society’s norms. From questioning the existence of God to the questioning your own existence, this show has laughter, tears and, at times, it is simply nutty.”

Admission is free and open to the public. This production contains some adult language. For more information, call the Briar Cliff Theatre Box Office at 279-5542.

Briar Cliff University is a Catholic institution with an enrollment of more than 1,100 students from 26 states, Bosnia, Canada, Ecuador and Pakistan.  Students are educated in the Franciscan tradition of excellence in the liberal arts and career preparation in an environment of care and compassion.
