Briar Cliff University Recognizes Resident Assistants

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Briar Cliff University recognized its 20 resident assistants (RA) with food, fun and fanfare on Monday, March 31, declared as “RA Appreciation Day” by BCU faculty, staff and administrators.

Leading up to the event, BCU faculty, staff and administrators hosted a potluck dinner on Sunday evening. On Monday, faculty recognized RA’s in their classes and made a special “RA Appreciation Day” announcement at lunchtime in the Stark Student Center.

BCU RA’s also were presented with care packages from administrators and staff and a booklet comprised of student and faculty testimonials on the positive influence RA’s have had on campus life.

Resident assistants (RA’s) are BCU students who live in residence halls to serve students who reside on campus. RA’s work closely with staff and faculty to help students make the most of the academic, cultural, spiritual and social opportunities offered on campus.
