BCU Announces New Alumni Relations Director

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Briar Cliff University is pleased to announce Amy Meister as director of alumni relations for the university.

Meister has extensive experience in event planning, grant writing and community relations, most recently from Mid-Sioux Opportunity, Inc., Remsen, Iowa, where she served as director for Head Start and Early Head Start programs.

Previously, Meister held similar leadership roles at the City of Springhill, Kan.; Camp Fire USA-Heartland Council, Prairie Village, Kan.; and Kitty Hawk Kites-Carolina Outdoors, Nags Nead, N. C.

As director of alumni relations at Briar Cliff University, Meister will coordinate and implement all alumni projects, programs and special events. She also will assist in developing and fostering networks of Briar Cliff alumni who reside in 50 states in the U.S., Canada, England, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Central America, Asia and Japan.  

Meister holds a bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations and business administration from Mid-America Nazarene University in Olathe, Kan.
