The Graduate Management Certificate Program will provide any manager or person aspiring to become a manager with the critical material needed to lead a group of individuals.  Because studies have shown that organizations receive their competitive advantage through human resources, it is important in today’s organizational environment for managers to focus on behavioral skills. 

The courses will all be provided online and are beneficial to any employee because:

• The courses offered meet the needs of people who are too busy during the workday to take classes in a traditional campus setting. 

• Managers and those aspiring to management positions can benefit from this certificate program by working at their own convenience and acquiring knowledge and practices that can be used in any organization. 

• The use of case studies, role playing, conflict resolution techniques and human resource strategies will enhance the learning experience for the students.

After successful completion of the Graduate Management Certificate program, the student will receive a certificate of completion. The student will then have the option to apply for acceptance into the Master of Arts in Human Resource Management (MAHRM) program. The five courses completed for the certificate will transfer into the MAHRM program and the student will only need seven courses to complete the Master’s degree.
