Siouxland Research Center
The Siouxland Research Center offers affordable research to local agencies at a low cost. It turns socially relevant data into real information, and puts it into the hands of the public.
For 20 years, the SSSRC has designed and conducted affordable social science research for agencies across Siouxland:
- Non-profit organizations (Sioux City Art Center, Siouxland CARES, Mary J. Treglia Community House)
- Public agencies (Sioux City Community Schools, Woodbury County Sheriff's Office, Woodbury County Community Drug Court)
- Private agencies (College of St. Mary, Briar Cliff University)
We understand not everyone is familiar with how research is conducted or how much it might cost. Our goal is to determine the best methods, while weighing your agency's time demands and budget restrictions.
The SSSRC also provides valuable field experience for Briar Cliff University students, who work hand-in-hand with the SSSRC staff and use some of the most modern technology in social science research today.
