ENGL 305 - Classical Literature and Mythology

The great Greek and Roman myths are the stuff of dreams—and nightmares.  Students will meet monsters and heroes, gods and goddesses, women and men in love, fathers and sons in conflict, perpetrators of rape, murder, and incest as they read the timeless works of Sophocles, Aeschylus, Aristophanes, Ovid, Virgil, and others.
